Mt. Zion supports many missions financially, as well as, through volunteering time and sweat. Members of our church have gone to several trips to Faith Home in San Pedro Sula, Honduras and to Jamaica. In 2006, our members went to Juarez, Mexico to work on the mission church, Agua Viva.
Some of the local missions we support are, the Bethlehem House in Conway, Arkansas; the Food For Life food bank in Clinton, Arkansas; and the Station in Bee Branch, Arkansas.
We actively support the Gideons International organization in their efforts to put the word of God into every hand.
Our church is part of some "in house" mission based organizations. The Men in Missons group and the Women's Ministry meet the second Wednesday night of each month at 7:00 p.m. and the CROSSTrax group meets the second Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and is geared toward 4th-7th grade girls.
Mt. Zion also supports our association church camp, Camp Formosa, through our financial contributions, work days, and we also pay to send children to the summer camps.
