Senior High Sunday School
My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19 (The Message)
The Senior High Class of Mt Zion General Baptist Church is made up of young people on the verge of adulthood. Our goals, first and foremost, are to firmly establish a relationship with Jesus Christ and then to figure out each of our individual places in His Kingdom. We know we all have a unique purpose in that kingdom and together we explore God’s word and share our experiences as we grow in our understanding of God’s purpose for each of us.
We enjoy doing things for others and also participate in activities that give us the opportunity for fellowship. We did a food collection project for Bethlehem House (a long term homeless shelter located in Conway, Arkansas) last spring and are looking for a new project. So please contact Wendy Miers at wmiers@acxiom.com if you have an idea for a community project for Mt Zion’s Senior High Sunday School class.
